We’re here to help you finish getting set up in Carondelet Connect.

You’ve come to the right place to set your initial password for this website. There are just four easy steps you’ll need to take, and we’ll walk you through the process.

To get started, keep reading! Or if you want to take on this task at another time, no problem. You can safely leave now and then come back to this page in the future to set your password then.

Setting your Carondelet Connect password

The tan form here is where you will set your password for Carondelet Connect! You’ll keep coming back to it for each step. (Below it are some optional, expandable, instruction sections that share some tips and tricks as well as helpful information to refer to as you walk through the steps in order.)

Once your password has been set:

Go back to the Login page & access Carondelet Connect

Step-by-step instructions for setting your initial password

Step 1: Enter your Username

You should have already been provided with your Username for Carondelet Connect. You’ll need that to get started.

Please paste or type that Username into the tan box above, and then click the blue “Get New Password” button.

Once you’ve done that, click on Step 2 below!

(If you don’t have your Username or aren’t sure what to put here, please see the blue help section at the bottom of this page to request assistance.)

Step 2: Go check your email & click the link in it

Excellent! An email now has been sent to you from “Congregational offices <communications@csjcarondelet.org> “*:

Please go find that email in your inbox, open it, and click on the link inside the email.

Clicking the link there will confirm you are you, and bring you right back here to the website in your browser to finish things up. Once you are back here, click on Step 3 below!

*Note that the sender might be displayed in your inbox more fully as ” Congregational offices <communications@csjcarondelet.org> via t9n.feedblitz.com” – this is the correct, safe email sent from this site.

Don’t see the email in your inbox? Try this:

Check your spam folder.
Check your email again in a few minutes; while the system generally sends the email pretty quickly, it could take up to a few minutes to arrive.
Have several email addresses? Make sure you are looking in the email address where you received the email directing you to this page.

Step 3: Set your new password

You’re almost there! Now it’s time to choose your Carondelet Connect password.

Please enter (twice), into the tan form above, what you’d like your Carondelet Connect User Password to be, and then click the “Reset Password” button.

Your password goal is to create something that is not only secure but also easy enough to remember and type each time you log in. The following box below has some password tips and ideas to help you out.

Once your password is set, click on Step 4 below!

Password requirements:

Your password must be 10 or more characters.
Your password must be at least a “strength” of “Medium.” To reach this, try things such as
- mixing in upper and lowercase letters,
- using numbers or symbols and
- avoiding common strings like “password” or “12345” or “qwerty”.

Password ideas:

Try stringing together a few easily-remembered-by-you common words that don’t normally go together (plus a couple numbers and/or symbols). Avoid names and other personal information someone might associate with you. Think of verbs, nouns and adjectives and put them together randomly. Examples:
- RedPancake904
- Montana!3Monkeys!Coffee
- 19NoisesJoyful52
- ZebraWalkSeventeen17
- Beanbag-17-Gorillas
Pick a favorite song, sing your favorite part, and make your password the first letter of each word (plus a couple numbers/symbols). Now every time you login you just sing the song in your head and you’ll have the password! Examples:
- The song “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” could get you: TtlsHiwwya#*
- The song “Amazing Grace” could get you: Ag!HstsTsawlmIowlBnafWbbnis333
If you get stuck, try using an online password generator.
- DinoPass is designed for kids but great for anyone! On that site, choose the button for a “simple” or “strong” password and keep clicking until you get one you like. (If you choose a “simple” password there, you might need to beef it up with some more numbers or a symbol to make it strong enough here.)

Carondelet-specific cautions:

Please avoid using the common CSJ words, phrases, location addresses and years that someone might easily guess. Examples of what not to include in your password are:
- CSJ
- Carondelet
- Fontbonne
- 1836
- Communion
- LePuy

Step 4: Go log in!

That’s it; you’re all set!

Your Carondelet Connect account is now set up with the password you created. Please make a note of your password, as you will use it each time you access Carondelet Connect. (It’s perfectly fine to write it down and keep it somewhere private to you.)
